Lake Forest is offering an amazing deal where you can purchase gift cards from the Shop & Dine program, and they will match the purchase value.
Basically, they are giving you free money!!
Baker Ranch Animal is participating as one of the Lake Forest businesses that can accept the cards for payment.
There are some limitations -
You can purchase up to $200 value gift card per person and they will match with the same value purchased.
The "free" cards must be used within 6 months from purchase, the original paid value does not expire.
You can use it as partial payment for services but the website link will show you your current balance.
You get a digital code sent by email (card number, CVC and Expiration) - which works like a Mastercard at any of the participating businesses (you don't receive an actual card)
We have had many clients that have used their gift card to pay for annual wellness plans, or a year's supply of parasite prevention like Nexgard and Heartgard. Also you could pay for your pet's annual wellness visit and vaccines with the card (basically saving you 50% !!!)
But where does the "free money" come from? - the federal government gave larger cities a pot of money to disperse to residents to encourage spending in their local community following the economic crash caused by Covid-19 shut down. Primarily the hardship was felt by the restaurant and hospitality industries, but many small businesses were affected negatively.
Dental care for your pet
As pet owners, we all love our furry friends and want to give them the best care possible. This includes regular visits to the veterinarian for routine checkups and vaccinations. But did you know that professional dental cleaning for pets is just as important as these other routine procedures?
Many pet owners underestimate the importance of dental health in their pets. Just like humans, pets can suffer from dental problems such as gum disease, tooth decay, and bad breath. These problems can lead to more serious health issues if left untreated, such as infection, pain, and even organ damage.
Professional dental cleaning is the most effective way to prevent these dental problems and keep your pet’s mouth healthy. During a professional cleaning, a veterinarian will thoroughly clean your pet’s teeth and gums, removing any tartar, plaque, and bacteria that have built up over time. This cleaning will also include a complete oral exam, which can help identify any underlying dental issues that may require further treatment.
But why is professional dental cleaning so important? Firstly, it can help prevent serious health problems. Gum disease, for example, has been linked to a range of health issues in pets, including heart disease, kidney disease, and liver damage. By preventing gum disease, you can help your pet avoid these more serious health issues down the line.
Secondly, professional dental cleaning can improve your pet’s quality of life. Pets with dental problems can experience pain, discomfort, and difficulty eating, which can lead to weight loss and other health issues. By keeping your pet’s mouth healthy, you can help them feel better and enjoy a higher quality of life.
Finally, professional dental cleaning can save you money in the long run. Preventing dental problems through regular cleanings can help you avoid more expensive dental procedures down the line, such as extractions and root canals.
In conclusion, professional dental cleaning is an essential part of your pet’s overall health and wellness. By keeping your pet’s mouth healthy, you can help prevent serious health issues, improve their quality of life, and save money on costly dental procedures. If you haven’t already, schedule a dental cleaning for your pet today – they’ll thank you for it!
