Veterinary Technician and Nurse Team
Jill Herzog RVT - Veterinary Technician - Jill supports our team full time and has a background in pet rehab care. She also enjoys making each vet visit low stress and fun for your pet. Jill has a dog - Cee Cee and a parrot - Birdy at home - she is also a huge Ducks fan and you will often find her supporting or playing ice hockey.
Carla Granados - Practice Manager and CSR- Carla is our queen of all things administrative. She has a wealth of experience in veterinary offices, but her client care skills are her best attribute. She will take care of scheduling, refills, messages, follow up calls and everything in between. She has a beautiful cat named Tony, who is also a feline model for her other job as an animal photographer, she also recently adopted a puppy called Kaya who LOVES to come visit us at the clinic. Carla knows how to capture your pet in the best light.
Edina Kuras- Veterinary Nurse technician- Edina joined our team in June 2021 - she has previously worked with Dr Barry at another practice and gained further experience in local veterinary clinics. She has a beautiful dog named Brindle and a cat. Edina also volunteers at the Pacific Marine Mammal Center in Laguna Beach - where she takes care of sick or injured wild sea lions or seals.
Heidi Pankratz - Veterinary Nurse technician - Heidi joined our team in July 2021 - She comes from a background of working at a Wolf rescue group, as well as other wildlife and zoological centers. She has a sweet senior dog named Mitzy who has travelled all over the world with her as well as a cat named Poe. Heidi is also a Spanish speaker.
Lauren Henry - Veterinary student and nurse technician - Lauren joins us for this summer (and hopefully future school recess) as she is studying to graduate as a veterinarian from The University of Glasgow in Scotland. Lauren is a So.Cal native, and has a a keen interest in exotics and reptiles as well as dogs and cats. She also volunteers her time at the Pacific Marine Mammal Center - caring for wild pinnipeds. Lauren has a family doodle dog named Ripley. We are very grateful to have Lauren work during her school clinical studies placement with us.
